Creating Calculated Rows in a Matrix

Hello!

I have a matrix and I am trying to add more than one calculated row. Please see example below. My initial thought was to try to create several measures for each Account Name for MTD, YTD, 1YR, etc. However, I am not sure where to start or if this is even possible using a matrix. Any help / Advice will be greatly appreciated.  Thanks!

Account NameAccount DetailMTDQTDYTDYR1
Account Name 1Account Return0.521.51.57.2
 Benchmark Return 10.481.681.738.29
 Benchmark Return 20.952.22.5811.95
Diff of Account Return and Benchmark Return 1)0.04-0.18-0.23-1.09<-- New Calc
Diff of Account Return and Benchmark Return 2)-0.43-0.7-1.08-4.75<-- New Calc
Account Name 2Account Return0.61.951.28.3
 Benchmark Return 10.481.681.738.29
 Benchmark Return 20.952.22.5811.95
Diff of Account Return and Benchmark Return 10.120.27-0.530.01<-- New Calc
Diff of Account Return and Benchmark Return 2-0.35-0.25-1.38-3.65<-- New Calc

@PBIEvangelist ,Usually there is not way to add custom rows

You have to create a new table with these diff as account details with the account name. Join the current table and this new table with common account and account details and display.

I have not been able to make this work. Calculating the differences in particular and formating in rows. I created a Layout with IDs to distinguish what is what in excel but I get stuck there. Is there anyway you can show me an example?

Thanks so much for your response! I will try this out today.
