Create a time filter button through dax.

I am intending on creating a filter/slicer to effect an entire report page with buttons.

I want to be able to allow the user to filter the last 7 days, 14 days, 3 months and 6 months from the report date with buttons for each period. I am aware that there are these filters available via the filter pane, however I am creating reports form people who will have practically zero BI experience.

For reference my current date of report uses this measure

Date of Report = MIN('Report Date'[Current Date])

Thank you for any help.
