Hi Guys,
Could you please help me building below solution. After a very long time I am not able to achieve something in Power BI.
Here is the data I am deailing with in the most simplest form:
I have two tables as Source. Table A and Mapping
Table A | |||
Item Name Source A | Item Name Source B | Attribute Source A | Attribute Source B |
I1 | I1 | A1 | B1 |
I2 | I2 | C1 | D1 |
I3 | I3 | E1 | F1 |
Mapping | ||
Common | Source A | Source B |
Item Name | Item Name Source A | Item Name Source B |
Attribute | Attribute Source A | Attribute Source B |
I need to bring the above data in below format. At any point of time only one Item will be selected in Item Filter.
So, if we filter by I1 then below table:
Attribute | Source A | Source B |
Item Name | I1 | I1 |
Attribute | A1 | B1 |
If we filter by Item I2, then below table:
Attribute | Source A | Source B |
Item Name | I2 | I2 |
Attribute | C1 | D1 |
@Community: Please help in resolving this.
Regards,
Prateek Raina
that's a bit of an unusual format for Power BI data, but please check the solution in the file enclosed.
