Hello, I am fairly new to PowerBI and am wondering if the following is possible. I have a list of projects with their start and end dates and am looking to create a bar chart tracker that can shows the number of active projects by each week throughout the year. I was able to create a weeknumber column but the projects only show up on the week they start and do not accumulate over time.
Data format I have:
| Project Name | Project Start Date | Project End Date |
| 1 | January 1, 2021 | January 15, 2021 |
| 2 | January 5, 2021 | January 30, 2021 |
| 3 | January 7, 2021 | February 10, 2021 |
| 4 | January 10, 2021 | February 2, 2021 |
Desired Output Layout
| Number of Active Projects | |||||
| 1 | 2 | 3 | 4 | 5 | |
| Week Number |
Thanks in advance for any help.

Hi @Anonymous
Download sample PBIX file with the following data/chart
Using a measure like this will give you what you need by Week Number.
Active Projects By WeekNum = CALCULATE(COUNTROWS('Data'), FILTER(ALL('Data'), WEEKNUM('Data'[Project Start Date],1) <= SELECTEDVALUE(DateTable[WeekNumber]) && WEEKNUM('Data'[Project End Date],1) >= SELECTEDVALUE('DateTable'[WeekNumber])))
This is using the Week Number form the DateTable. See PBIX file above.
