Hi all ,
need some help, i'm new to power bi and this one has me stumped.
i want to count the users that don't and do have
User | Role name | Role Type |
A | Walk the dog | Worker |
A | Water the dog | Worker |
A | Buy dog food | Manager |
B | Walk the dog | Worker |
B | Water the dog | Worker |
B | feed the dog | Worker |
C | Buy dog food | Manager |
C | take dog to vet | Manager |
C | Walk the dog | Worker |
C | Water the dog | Worker |
Expected result should be
User | Has manager role |
A | TRUE |
B | TRUE |
C | FALSE |
thanks in advance

That is supposed to be calculated column, not a measure.
Hi @rafterse ,
Try this:
Has manager role =
NOT (
ISBLANK (
CALCULATE (
COUNTROWS ( data ),
FILTER (
data,
data[User] = EARLIER ( data[User] )
&& data[Role Type] = "Manager"
)
)
)
)
That is supposed to be calculated column, not a measure.
thanks it worked perfectly
