Converting Weights to Ratio

Hi All,

I have an interesting problem.

There are different models for manufacturers.
The models get some weight in the raw data to add up to 100% for each manufacturer, but finally we don't calculate with all of the models so we have to convert the weights to ratios which keep the ratio between the models, but the sum is 100% in this way too.

How can I get closer to this result?
Thanks in advance,
Zoltan

Hi @Zoltan10 ,

According to your description, refer to the following formula:

Col_ =
VAR a =
    IF (
        ISBLANK ( 'Table'[Need] ),
        BLANK (),
        CALCULATE (
            SUM ( 'Table'[Weight] ),
            FILTER (
                ALL ( 'Table' ),
                'Table'[Manufacturer] = EARLIER ( 'Table'[Manufacturer] )
                    && 'Table'[Need] <> BLANK ()
            )
        )
    )
RETURN
    DIVIDE ( 'Table'[Weight], a, BLANK () )
