Convert a text column to number

Hi there,

Can someone help with converting string to value.

string type is something like "AD1700000000000BC0081460"

I need it to convert it to number in order to get the count of each row.

so your purpose is to count rows? why not just use COUNTROWS function?

try to add a custom column in PQ

=Text.Select([Column1],{"0".."9"})
