Hi,
I have a power bi report which I have uploaded into service. In that report I have connected to a sharepoint file that lies on a sharepoint site. While in desktop I have used my organizational credentials to connect, in the service there is not such option. How should I connect to the file in the service?
PS. I tried to connect to the file both using web as well as the sharepoint folder connector but either way I cannot authenticate in the service.
Thanks in advance,
Foteini

Hi @FotFly
This error may depend on the browser you’re using. Generally, we always recommend using Microsoft Edge to browse the Power BI service.
Please make sure that pop-ups are enabled in your browser. If you're not using Microsoft Edge and the error persists after enabling pop-ups, consider switching to Microsoft Edge.

Hi,
Thank you for replying.
In the service I try to use the OAuth2 method but I get this error "You need to use SSL (HTTPS) when you use OAuth 2.0 authentication."
I also have ensured that the links point to the correct path (either the file or the folder). On top of that I have ensured that I have access to the file and the site and check my gateway.

Thank you very much. The problem was indeed the browser I was using.
I would never in a million years have guessed that this might be the issue.
