I'm looking for a way to automatically have different colours for rows, if the row name contains a certain word (different colors if it contains: Process, Header or Quality)
Unfortunately, this is not possible for matrices with the standart conditional formatting (I tried it with a table and it worked). For matrices, the conditional formatting seems to only work on the values.
The table looks something like this:
| 1 | 2 | |
| Process.One | ||
| Header.Two | ||
| Quality.One | ||
| Process.Two |
Does someone know a way to work around this issue?
Hi @Anonymous
Unfortunately, we can't apply conditional formatting on row headers in the matrix.
Only on values, there is an idea bout this issue you can vote for it (I already voted 🙂 )

I also gave some alternatives to bring the header as a value in the linked discussion.
Look if it can help in your case too
