Conditional Formatting using measures

I am trying to utilize a measure to conditionally format my matrix to highlight if an item is + or - 5% of the total value. Using the below formula it works like a charm. See the first photos below. But since the number value, "207000" in this case, will change every month I am trying to then use another measure which calculates the same value. When usuing the measure instead of the static number the conditional formmatting doesn't work. See second two photos. Has anyone come across this?

Below shows the correct conditional formatting but with static number:

Below shows the conditional formatting using another measure as the threshold value and it is not working properly, I have also proved below that the threshold equals the static figure in the above:

Hi @aschwegman

After testing, when using measure, it can work in my sample.

What dax does your threshold measure use, your measure value is shown as 207000 in the card, but you can try to put it in the matrix as well. It may be affected by the filter and show different values. Your conditional formatting may be different for this reason.
