I want to apply conditional format to total value, and i dont want to see any format if value is null(number/zero)

I don't think there is an option to format Total Value in Matrix visual currently. Here is the idea shared on Power BI Ideas forum. You can vote it up and add your comments there to improve Power BI on this feature.
To not format blank/null values, you can set "Don't format" for Format blank values option when configuring conditional formatting for a field. ![]()
