Hello!
I have a Clustered Column Chart with these inputs:
I would like to change the color of my column based on whether the year is the current, the previous and the next year, but the legend should still be showing the year in numbers (2024, 2023 etc). The only way I can change the color of the columns is at the Format panel, under columns but there is no conditional formatting.
Is there a way I can achieve what I want?

Hi @manosjxmaah ,
Based on your description, it appears that you’re looking to apply conditional formatting to the Columns of a clustered column chart with Legend in Power BI. However, conditional formatting cannot be applied to columns when a legend is present, as you might have observed in the Format pane. I recommend reviewing the following thread which discusses a similar requirement. I hope you find it helpful.

You can not apply conditional formatting to a Cluster Column Chart because the Legend colour is static.
Please consider using a Line and Cluster Column Chart with:-
X Axis - Month
Column Y Axis - Price
Line y-axis = Benchmark
Legend - Category
It does not use conditional formating but is an excellent visual if you just have a few categories.
The graph could get very messy if you hace lots of categories
Best Regards
