I am trying to conditionally format a percentage Gauge visual to have a red fill when the percentage is less than a variable measure, and green when greater than or equal to the variable measure.
The variable measure is the fraction of the year that has passed so far. For example, on March 31st 2022, the variable measure would be roughly = 3 months / 12 months = 0.25 = 25%. Therefore the fill should be red if the value on the Gauge < 25%, or green if the value >= 25%.
In conditional formatting I can see an option to use a fixed number as the threshold, but no option to use a measure as a threshold. Am I missing something here?
Thanks for any help on this!
EDIT: As a temporary workaround I have created a measure called "Colour" which uses a SWITCH() to decide the colour.

Hi @oliverblane ,
Change the 'Format Style' option at the top from Rules to Field Value. Then you can select the measure you have created.
