Combining data from two columns (origin and destination) into graph

Hi, just started in this space.  I've been a fan of pivot, power query, power pivot.  In my limited experience, i haven't been able to work around this problem.

I have a huge table that tracks the number of shipments that went from one origin to one destination.  In order to track the number of shipments to, say, SYD,  I have to pivot first by Origin to get total number of shipments to SYD, and then i do the same pivot for Destination to get the number, and then sum up.

With powerBI, i hope i do not have to pivot out two tables to sum up.  Please see my sample table in the link below

Sample table

I will be grateful if anyone can help me with this.

Sincerely,

Patrick

Hi PGAT,

You can create Matrix visual to meet your demand showing picture below.

You can go through the link to learn more: https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/power-bi/visuals/desktop-matrix-visual

Here is my test pbix file link: https://qiuyunus-my.sharepoint.com/:u:/g/personal/pbipro_qiuyunus_onmicrosoft_com/EcS29zVrJxBJsXPKEs...

Hi Amy, thanks.  I realised I have made a mistake in the outcome of my sample table.  If possible, can you take a look at it again?  https://1drv.ms/x/s!ApSB4boI7YlPiEPRH25yRJa1Fyw_

My table is quite huge, and so where possible, i hope to be able to visualise the data in graphs as well.  If matrix is possible for the updated outcome in the link above, i will appreciate your advice.

Many thanks!

Sincerely,

PGAT
