Combine two columns from two tables

Hi all

I have two different query tables which both have an email address column. One table has 16m records, the other has 12m records. I want to create a new query table which has the unique email addresses from the two tables. The tables have other columns but I just want to combine the two email address columns in another table. Any help would be great. Thanks. Mike

I'm sure there is a power query / M way of doing this, but I'm a dax nerd.  I'd use "Calculate Table" with

NewTable = UNION(DISTINCT(Table1[Email]), DISTINCT(Table2[Email])

Think I need to become a DAX nerd! Thanks scottsen, worked a treat!

I just added another DISTINCT before UNION to make sure only one email address was returned if the same email address was in both tables.

Thanks!

Mike
