Hi.
I have spent a whole day researching this problem and still can't figure out a way to add a trend line for month/year. Have tried normal date, hierarchy date, I have converted months to numerics but still nothing.
This is what I have for a clustered column chart with month and year added and at the top level (perfect):-
I drill down to month and (where's my line gone and continuous setting has disappeared):-
I have used MONTH([Start Date]) and YEAR([Start Date]) as the X-Axis and they are both set to whole number.
Help would be greatly appreciated. 🙂
Thank you.

have you considered creating your own trend line (with LINESTX) and add it to the chart?
Hi @Power_It_Up ,
@lbendlin , suggested creating a trend line with LINESTX, which is good option for custom calculations. Both methods work well based on your needs.
