Hi
I have a simple clustered column chart with two series - Budget and Actual.
For the Budget series I want to change the color of one of the columns only (Change colour of one budget line item)
I can't do it however as the conditional formatting icon is not next to the color menu in the 'columns' drop down menu when you have more than one series
If I take the actual series out for example I can see I have the conditional formatting option available and I can choose my column to change color for
How do I get around this?
Thanks

unfortunately, if you're using a legend/two measures on the same graph, there's no way to apply conditional formatting.
You can only assign a different color at the measure level, without the ability to change a specific bar.
If the goal of the coloring is to highlight areas that don’t meet the target, there are alternative approaches.
For example, you can create a gap (variance) chart (since ultimately, that’s what users check when you place Budget next to Actuals).
Then, on the variance chart, you can apply conditional formatting.
If you share an example of your data, I can demonstrate in a more specific way.
