Change Dax from numeric values to categorical values

Hi,

I have this 

MedidaAMostrar = IF(HASONEVALUE(Medida[Medida]);SWITCH(VALUES(Medida[Medida]);"Gasto";[GastoT];"Exposicion";[Exposicion]))

And works if GastoT and Exposicion are meassures. I need something similar but, with a particularity, I need to select string columns instead of numerical values. it will be like Gasto and Exposicion having these values

GastoT

AAAA

BBB

CCC

DDD

Exposicion

XXXXX

YY

ZZZ

WWW

So MedidaAMostrar will be a column with Exposicion categories or GastoT categories depending on what I selected in Medida[Medida]

        VALUES ( Medida[Medida] ),

    )
)
