Card visual missing a record

Hi all,

I have an issue with one of my card visuals not picking up all the records it is supposed to display.  It's a simple card visual that counts the number of times a date appears in a column called Package commencement.  One date = one package.  The field is Count of Package Date, there are no other visual filters for the card.  There is a date splicer on the page and that is set to the correct date range to pick up the records.  I have identified the date value it is notpicking up but can't find any reason why it wouldn't be counted, it's in the correct column, its in the correct format, all relationships are working properly to pick up all the other records but for some reason this date isn't included in the final count.  Does anyone have any ideas of what else I can check?  Thanks,

Ok I think I actually managed to work it out.  The problem is that my data has lots of different dates marking events, so there is the date the enquiry was received, vs the date a referral code was received, vs the package commencement date.  Because I set up the relationship between the Calendar table and the data table as being 'Date' to 'Date of Enquiry', the 'count of package commencement date' was only showing records if the 'date of enquiry' for that record fell within the date range the page was set to, regardless of when the package commencement date was.

I have fixed it by breaking the link from my card visual to the date slicer, this seems to have fixed it.

@eburke,

When you save your Power BI desktop report, it's a PBIX file. And you can attach it when you reply a message.

I don't seem to have that option on my screen when I reply.

@eburke,

Sorry, my mistake, only moderator has this option. In this case, you could to upload this file to Onedrive and share it to me.

Thank you for your understanding.

Charlie,

Sorry I've uploaded it to onedrive but it's locked down so I can only share with people in my organisation.  Sorry not much help to you.
