Card visual missing Tooltip Page style function

I have a map visual, in this Map visual I have different regions where I have attached multiple card visuals. In one region I have 6 card visuals, Grouped by 2, First group: Server_Name x Server_CPU%, 2nd group: Room_Name x Room Temperature, 3rd: Server_Name x Ram_Available).

I want to show the trend of each of these factors when a user hover over the card visual with the value but Power BI has removed card visuals I was only able to find the Advanced Card visual(Manual add) which I am currenly using to display the values but it does not support tooltip page style, which would allow me to display a line chart trend when the user hovers over the card. Is there a way around this, or a better way for me to achieve my goal?

Extra info. The page only shows latest data for different regions on the map, We must only see additional info when we hover over.

Hi @Tiyani

The tooltip page option should be available in the new card visual. Have you updated to the latest version of Power BI Desktop?

I can't see the visual you are using, I am using the latest update as seen below. The only card visual I have is the "Advance card" which I had to add since the new version removed all card visuals.

@danextian

I am using the Jan 2026 version. Not seeing the Tooltip page option. Just seeing the Tooltips options where we can add Columns. Not sure how you are seeing an option to add Tooltip page. Is there anyother thing that we need to do to make this visible? Any preview options?

You might have unpinned it. Please try restoring the default visuals.

I can't see the Tooltip Page style function on the shape options as well, the shape only allows text as tooltips, can you please explain in more detail.

If you are using the "new Power BI native card" It should work.

Below are the steps
Go to the General tab > Tooltips > Select the Report Page.
Below is the screenshot attach for your reference.

My power BI was updated this month( January 2026), The update removed all the native card visuals, I had to add the "Advance Card" visual using the Add more visual option on Power BI desktop. The native card visual that you mentioned can't be located anywhere.

Hi @Tiyani ,

Advanced Card (new card) does NOT support Report Page Tooltips, and there’s no toggle hidden anywhere to enable it.
But yes, we can perform a workaround to achive the same.
Use a tranparent shape overlay to achied the same. You can place it over the card and enable page tooltip for the shape.
