Card visual drillthrough - Variable -Related Table

Hello  community.

I have the following issue. I want to create drillthrough on a card visual and get information from a related table.

So i noticed the below :

When  I use a simple custom variable ( example : customers = DISTINCTCOUNT(myvariable)  ) , adding this on the drill through variables on the drill through page ,everything works fine. Please keep in mind that both, card and drill through page, are generated by the same table.

 Example :

Drill through page :

Before Drillthrough :

 After Drillthrough

Without the custom variable drill through is not working.

So now i want to do something similar. i use the same approach  but on the drill through page i use a related table.

Please check the details:
variable :
#Customers_RC = DISTINCTCOUNT(Customers_without_Risk_category[KNB1_Customer_ID])

graphs : pie and card

Drillthrough fields :

So when i use the pie's drill through, filtering works fine, i suppose block_by_credit field did all the work

result in drill through page / related table :

When i use the card's drill through

Filtering is not working at all.

Dear @PowerBI  and @v-yangliu-msft ,I will try  again to make it clear with more printscreens

I have 3 tables, two with just one column and a detailed one

theotria_0-1658312971976.png

Both connections ara many to many with cross filter direction = both

theotria_1-1658313025256.png

theotria_2-1658313051387.png

theotria_3-1658313078416.png

I created two different cards for each one column for each table.

theotria_9-1658313843208.png

theotria_10-1658313915896.png

for both tables a created a custom measure (i read that this is the only way to have a drillthrough option when you use "card")

theotria_7-1658313279582.png

theotria_11-1658313963223.png

In the detailed table i dragged and dropped all those measures , even the variables

So when i use the drill through option for both cards the detailed table is not responding/No filtering

So could you please tell me what i am doing wrong.

  • The 2 tables have a many to many connection with the detailed one (filter = both) (i read this on a topic for related table - drill through)
  • I created a custom measure to enable the drill through for the card visual  (i read this on a topic drillthrough for cards)
  • I dragged and dropped all the measures - even the variables i use on my measures - in the drillthrough box
  • The reporting table is not responding.

Hi  @Anonymous ,

Can you share sample data and sample output in table format? Or a sample pbix after removing sensitive data. We can better understand the problem and help you
