Hello
I have already PowerBI Desktop installed and I need to update it to the latest from here:
https://powerbi.microsoft.com/en-us/downloads/
Unfortunately when I run the file it says that PowerBI is running and closes the installer. I do not know why this happening as I dont have PowerBI open.
Any idea?

Please check the following two reasons:
1.Whether to set up self-launch for Power BI Desktop.
2. Whether the related processes for Power BI Desktop are not completely closed.
You can open Task Manager - > apps ->processes, find all related app and processes , and stop them.
