Can you filter data with slicers two different ways and have it display on one map?

I am using two different slicers to slice the data in two different ways and want them both show on one map.

This is my example. 

I have a subject county I am looking at with an estimated population. This is shown on left side side with a red bubble on the map. I want to be able to slice this data and easily chose any county I want in the United states so that it is not locked in on one county. I have it set up so each slicer will not effect the right side slicers or map through editing interactions. 

I have comparable counties with similar population sizes on the right side. I have sliced the data to show a similar range of populations and a specific state (Georgia). I also want to be able to slice this data and pick any state that I want.

I want to display this on one map and not with two maps. I would like the Subject to be highlated in red and for me to be able to move it to any county I want. I also want to be able to highlight the comparbles in blue and move them anywhere i want. 

When turning on the filter for both my result is a blank map because the slicers are fighting one another. Below is a screenshot of my scenario.

If you don't want the slicers to affect each other, you can follow these steps to do so:

Just light up the slicer or chart you don't want to be affected by the icon marked below.

If you need to highlight, then you can need to format your map conditionally according to your actual situation, you can refer to the following case solution:
