Hi,
I would like to ask how to import xml file to power bi. I tied importing but loading data in tables takes much time. How to resolve it?
XML file sizei s 2 MB, Are there solutions for it?
Hi @Analitika ,
To import an XML file into Power BI, you can use the Power Query XML connector. Here are the steps to load a local XML file from Power Query Desktop:
Select the XML option in the Get Data selection.
Browse to the directory containing the local XML file you want to load, and then select Open.
If loading data in tables takes much time, you can try to optimize your query by filtering out unnecessary data or reducing the number of columns . You can also try to increase the performance of your query by using DirectQuery mode or by using a more powerful computer.
As for the size of your XML file (2 MB), it should not be too large for Power BI to handle. However, if you are still experiencing issues with loading data in tables, you can try to split your XML file into smaller files or use a different file format such as CSV .

CSV not solves. It converts data in one line.
