Hi everyone,
for some reason I can't create a relationships between any two tables in my semantic model in Power BI Desktop. The pop-up that allows me to choose the fields I want to connect opens, but there isn't any "OK" button for me to click to accept that relationship. It is very frustrating as I can't create any simple relationships between tables. I have checked the format of the columns to be the same, restart pbi and the laptop I have also unistalled and reinstalled PBI but nothing thanged.
Do you have any tips I can try?
Thanks very much,
Ste
Hi, @melste1
Sometimes, null or blank values in the column you're trying to associate can cause unexpected behavior. Make sure that the column you're trying to create a relationship in doesn't contain null or null values. If so, consider filtering it out or replacing it with a placeholder value. Make sure that at least one column in the relationship has a unique value. Power BI requires that one end of the relationship has a unique value to establish a one-to-many or one-to-one relationship. If both columns contain duplicate values, consider creating a dimension table that contains the unique values of the relationship.
