Calender table new change datasource

Hi together,

i have build a calender table with my old Datasource. Know we have a new datasource the row names are the same.

But how can i change the source from the calendertable in the power query example, actual is the name from the datasource "AddOn" and the rowname is "Anlagedatum" the new Datasource is the name "V_AddOn" the rowname "Anlagedatum".

How can i change the row or must i develop a new calendertable?

Thank you very much for your help

Lea

Hey Lea,

from my point of the view the best approach is the following:

1. Go to Power Query and import the new calendar table.

2. Modify the query that the new table looks like the old one (same structure, same columns, rename if necessary to have an identical table).

3. Go to the advanced editor and copy the query.

4. Go to the old table, open the advanced editor and paste the query of the new table.

5. Delete the query you created in step 2.

6. Close & Apply, you have successfully replaced your date table 🙂

7. Accept this answer as solution and give it a thumbs up 😉

@leazimmer

Go to Power Query then the calendar query, click on the gear icon next to the 1st step which is the Source, and replace the new source string. for the data connection
