Power BI datasets sharing licence

Hello everyone,

 

I have a report that uses a PowerBI dataset and i have a pro licence, I shared the PBIX with  my college who have a free PB licence, he was not able to access the report .

The error message shows that there is a problem with data.

Any suggestions

    Hey Anonymous ,

     

    as there are multiple ways to do that, how did you share it?

    If he doesn't have a pro license he will just be able to view it when:

    1. You "Publish to web (public)". But then the report is visible for EVERYONE in the world with the link. I would not recommend that.

    2. The report is in a Premium Workspace and you give him access to read the report
