I have following information of inventory that needs to be presented in a Matrix visual as shown below (some are fields from table, some are measures ) -
Brand - field value from a Item table from Item table which is connected to Stock Table by Item ID
Sub Brand - field value from Item table from Item table which is connected to Stock Table by Item ID
item - field value from Item table which is connected to Stock Table by Item ID
stock qty - measure from stock table
listed sale price - measure from Price List Table where the Listed Sale price is stored
cost price - measure from Stock Table
margin - measures (calculated from Listed Sale Price and cost Price)
Stock received date - show the date hierarchy from Calendar Table which is connected to Stock Table by Received Date as the key
expected Matrix visual - present these under timeline of stock received date

There was a solution using calcultion groups in following youtube video which i tried by creating a calculation group with calculation items for each of the measure with the IF(NOT(ISINSCOPE)) as used in the video, but when i bring it into the matrix visual as suggested and drill down by column, under each timeline it repeats the measure value instead of showing as a single column as shown in the video.
can anyone help?
Hi @GVTioluxe,
I'd like to suggest you take a look at the following blog about introducing and usage of calculation groups if it helps with your scenario:
