Calculate date difference based on an event

Hi! I have this data and I'm looking to calculate date difference in days between my 'desire' event. In the case bellow, the event that a wanna look is 'Event A'.

Identifer	date
Event A	1/09/2018
Event B	1/08/2018
Event A	1/06/2018
Event B	1/04/2018
Event C	1/03/2019
Event A	1/01/2019

My desired output is below

cycle	Date Diff in Days
2	3
1	6

cycle 1 =  1/06/2018 - 1/01/2019 = 6 days

cycle 2 =   1/09/2018 - 1/06/2018 = 3 days 

Is any way that I can do that?
