Calculate Forecast cusomter opening and closing base

I am working on a revenue forecast model. One driver of the revenue forecast is average customer base. 

1. Average customer base = (opening customer base + closing customer base)/2
2. The Net Adds forecasts are available
3. The previous month closing base is available

Question is how to calculate the forecast period opening and closing base
