Hi Community,
I am having an issue with the total shown in Power BI Table Visual. Take for example the following image.
The total should have been 2,912,655. Why is it not showing the correct total? Is it because of filters in the page and visual or is it a bug? I cannot understand where the issue is. I would appreciate your clarifications.
Thank you.
Solved! Go to Solution.
Try using this measure instead. It references your existing measure, and should give you the same values in the rows but correct total. Replace Table with your actual table name.
Amount 2 = SUMX(VALUES(Table[Speciality]), [Amount])
If this works for you, please mark it as the solution. Kudos are appreciated too. Please let me know if not.
Regards,
Pat

So have you applied any filters on the visual? And could you please share the dax code of the measure [Amount] so that I could do further analysis?
Regards,
Jimmy Tao
Hi Jimmy,
There is not dax formula on the field amount.
However, the field speciality and amount is not coming from same table. They are connected through an ID.
