Hello,
I wanted to raise a bug; if this is not the right place to go, I'll be glad if you point me to the right direction. I didn't use 'Idea' forum, as this is a bug, not an idea.
I am running Version: 2.148.878.0 64-bit , which is October 2025. I have most of the preview features enabled, but this is related to General Available feature which was just released '
When I create a new table visual and I put any field there, like this:
It will indeed fill up the space. If I add more stuff, I get this:
Now, if I want to make the right-most column less wide, I cannot do it directly, as there's always a horizontal scrollbar, so I have to move first, and then I can drag the column and make it less wide.
Natural behaviour from previous versions would be to make the whole visual bigger and then adjust it, but since it's auto-distributing, you can't do that, so you can only really use the scrollbar.
I hope this is a bug and not a feature; otherwise, it's extremely inconvenient.
I know there's an option to remove this functionality, but either make it automatically disabled, or make it without the scrollbar, please. The feature itself is good, it's just not working as it should I believe.
Again, if this is not the place, please lemme know where to share feedback or report a bug. Thanks

Thanks, @parry2k ,
in case, it's here:

yep, very annoying. have to revert this for every single table visual as it is the exact opposite of what I need.
