Bar Chart dynamic title - unable to place a text measure as the title anymore.

Hello Community,

I am having an issue in where I want to place dynamic titles into the title and subtitle of a barchart, with the end goal of showing Totals and Months of Month and Year on Year KPI's.

However before I even get to the harder calculations and formatting I cannot even add a text measure as a title or subtitle. 

I have also tried this with a formatted measure of a kpi i will eventually use and still same issue. I cannot select the text measure into the "What field should this be based on" box 

The only thing I have been able to do is throw in a column from a data table in, for example I created a blank column and I can select that but that is not what i am after.

is this an issue that is being looked at? 

I have found a work around for this months reporting but future reporting will need the dynamic title as my work around isnt perfect.

My Absolute hero!! thankyou! i knew it would of been something so basic i was missing but i was just unaware that even if i format the measure with DAX it didnt change the format of the measure. 

Thankyou, i'll never make that mistake again works perfectly now

Hey, is your measure's Format set to Text?
