BI Mobile Sample Reports
Greetings,
Relatively new to BI, but I'm comfortable creating reports and shared dashboards. I am struggling with the mobile app dashboards and reports. I can change the layout to optimize reports and dashboards for the mobile app, but I would like to create reports and dashboards similar to the samples provided in the app. Specifically, the Sales Trend Report Sample and the Sales Report Sample. I'm assuming these were created in BI Desktop, but I cannot seem to create anything similar to these reports. Are the pbix files available for these sample reports? Appreciate any help and guidance.

Hello scaast,
I have not used any of the mobile app samples, but they look very similiar to the samples you can get in the PBI service.
You can import the samples from the PBI service by going to the "Get Data" tab.

Thanks, Alan. I've reviewed the samples, but that's not really what I'm after. In the mobile app there are report samples that I want to emulate (see screen capture below). I'm looking for a tutorial or source file this report was built upon.

Hi there
Those reports are from the SQL Server Mobile Reports (which is based on Datazen). So if you wanted to create those types of reports you would have to create them using SQL Server Reporting Services.

Otherwise you can create mobile reports in Power BI Desktop, and here is the blog post explaing how to do this: https://powerbi.microsoft.com/en-us/blog/power-bi-desktop-september-feature-summary/ - Scroll down to "Mobile Reports Layout"
Just remember that in Power BI Desktop and the Power BI Service it is different from SQL Server Reporting Services. And with your attached screenshot, both Power BI Mobile reports and SQL Server Reporting Services are used within the Power BI Mobile App.
