Azure Log Analytics - Incremental Refresh

Hey!

I've configured a Log Analytics in Azure and now, I have the Power BI Template connected to it so that we can analyze the usage of our workspace. Also, I've added a custom page to include some visuals and KPIs to understand our user's behaviour better. The thing is that I would want to publish it to the Power BI Service and configure the Incremental Refresh, I've tried to use the column "StartDateTime" from the Operations table and transform it into DateTime data type, but it seems that it doesn't work properly.

When I tried to refresh the dataset in the Power BI Desktop with the filter on this column (RangeStart and RangeEnd), I got this message:

Have any of you tried to do the same process, instead of fully refresh, configuring incremental refresh for Log Analytics Power BI?

Thanks!

Alicia.

Got similar requirement, trying to setup date time filter, but its not allowing to add parameters. Please let me know if you were able to resolve it.

For now, I don't have any updates, but definitely I will let you know using this post thread.

Thanks!

Hi @alicialcaide do you get an error when you use column "StartDateTime" ?

Maybe try marking the table as date and changing the StartDateTime to Date type variant.

No, I got an error when I use this column to configure the Incremental Refresh on the dashboard. I cannot change this column to Data type, because it is needed as DateTime data type to configure the Incremental Refresh.
