Is there any way to automatically apply formats with data from SQL data source similar to SSAS data sources? Similar to the metadata imported when connecting to a SSAS Tabular database. With complex data models it takes considreable time to set all the formats and aggregation types across all the tables in the model. We have this metadata stored in a SQL databasd and would like to import it vs. manually setting each time a new PBIX document is started.
I don't think so, but this seems like a good idea to request - https://ideas.powerbi.com/ideas/
Also, though it is not going to help a lot, you can select multiple columns and format them - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=j5kwmhoirM8
