Hi, I am looking at setting up alerts to go to specific individuals based off a data in a table in PowerBI.
The general premises is we have different lines for each project that then detail the following, a budget, a project manager and how much we have spent so far. I want to set it up so when we hit say 80% of budget spent that an email goes directly to the project manager alerting them of this.
I am unsure if this is best done using the visualised data in PowerBI or an app that connects directly to the core data (ODataFeed) and building it from there. If anyone can point me in the right direction it would be much appreciated.
Kind Regs,
Nick
yes alerts doesn't work with a table , it should be a card or a guage

Ah okay - unfortunately that won't work due to the quantity of project lines we have. Thank you though!
Hello @nickclarke1998 ,
check this alert feature from power bi service https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/power-bi/create-reports/service-set-data-alerts

I can't seem to get that to work with individual lines in table data unfortunately unless I am doing something wrong?
