Arrange Columns in Matrix Visual and Show the Top 10 rows

Hi all,

I have a question about arranging the columns in Matrix in Power BI. I have tried creating a new table with indeces however it's still not working. Is it possible that because the value are just the counts from another column? Here's the data I'm working with:

The idea of the table should look like this.

Additional question: Is it possible to only show the Top 10 highest number of schools? The list seems long.

Hi @emman_burgonia

Please create a lookup table for "Enrollment Data Age" and add one column for "Sort"
Create a relationship with your data table
Use value from Lookup Table in Column for the Matric table and change the sort order.

For top10 highest number of school, you need to create RANK for the school and use the RANK in filter pane.

Hope you get idea to solve the requirement.
If you face any issue, please share sample PBIX after removing sensitive data.

Hi @PijushRoy

Thank you so much! This works perfectly.

Hi @PijushRoy, can I ask how to use the RANK function to show only the top 10 cities?

@emman_burgonia
