Hi,
How can I add spaces in the title/name of a field/measure?
In the snapshot, I show the name of the measure (which contains internal 4 spaces) and the name as it appears in the visual (no spaces).
Thanks
Tamir

@Anonymous,
@v-yulgu-msft is not quite correct, you can achieve the effect that you want by using character code 2004 Three-Per-Em Space instead of 0020 (space). I did this by going into Word and then copying the character and using it as my space in the measure names. See attached.
Hi @Anonymous,
Based on my test, the spaces in column or measure names cannot be recognized after being added into visuals. As of now, there is no option to change this behavior.

Yuliana Gu
Not sure what is going on here, not enough information in the screen shots. Please see this post regarding How to Get Your Question Answered Quickly: https://community.powerbi.com/t5/Community-Blog/How-to-Get-Your-Question-Answered-Quickly/ba-p/38490
Can you provide sample data and let me know what visuals you are using?
Please see a link to a sample PBIX file.
Thank you,
Tamir

Dear @Greg_Deckler ,
Thanks for your help, one question, is it possible to have spaces at the beginning of a measure name (i.e. = " MeasureName")?
Thanks.
PS: I love your latest book about PQ
@PabloML Apparently it is. See attached, updated PBIX. And thanks!!
HI!
Im trying to wrtite this coude in the rename area inside power BI, but when I write : the character code 2004, doesnt change. Maybe its the keyboard or im writing it in the wrong way. Can you tell me how is that you wrote it? I open the attached file as well and dont see any code around. It would be nice an example of how to write it.
Thanks!
I tried the Three-Per-Em Space and it works great within between the words.
However, I need also to create an empty row within a table (for better visibility) and I thought to use that character to show blank as the name of the measure.
It doesn't work.
Do you have an idea for that?
Thank you,
Tamir
