Adding one value into multiple groups

Hi everyone,

I am after some help. I have got different items type that can belong to more than one family.

E.g.: ITEM #1  belong to Family #2 and Family #3.

I need to be able to group my items into family but using the grouping function of POWER BI, I can actually add an item to a single family only.

Is that something you guys can help me with?

Thank you.

Hi @corange ,

You may create a copy column using formula "ITEM #1_copy=ITEM #1", then add this new item column to another family.

You can post your new idea here https://ideas.powerbi.com/forums/265200-power-bi-ideas , to improve the Power BI.

It is a place for customers provide feedback about Microsoft Office products . What’s more, if a feedback is high voted there by other customers, it will be promising that Microsoft Product Team will take it into consideration when designing the next version in the future.

Best Regards,

Amy
