Access for Authorization
Hello everyone!
I trust this message finds you well.
I have in my reports in Power BI 4 major department pages and maybe will be more related to each department and I have 4 mangers and I want to give access for each manager of department and inactive all buttons for the rest department he can only access and click for what I give him access for based on user email log on.
I tried RLS but the user can go round between pages and all cards show 0, I didn't like this way I tried also tables and assign Email to pages doesn't work can anyone help me in this situation.
Your cooperation in this matter is highly appreciated.

it's either the RLS or you need to do seperate reports for each manager, because there's no way visuals or pages will disappear for a certain user.
I used RLS, and it worked, but I want the buttons to be inactive when the manager is unauthorized. Thank you for your reply.
What about the value in cards can I create measure to be blank or nothing instead zero?

you can keep the values blank, but regarding the buttons it won't work to be inactive.
