ALL function not working with report filter

Hi

I have a measure:

Measure =
CALCULATE(
    DISTINCTCOUNT('Employee - date'[Empl_nr]);
        ALL('Calendar'[Date]);
        FILTER('Employee - date'; 'Employee - date'[DateID] = "Leave date");
            'Employee - date'[Date] < TODAY() && 'Employee - date'[Date] <> BLANK() )

I want this measure to ignore a report filter in the Calendar table that is filtered to a specified period (FY 1, 2 & 3).

Anyway the measure output is still affected by the report filter.

(The two tables "Calendar" and "Employee - date" have a relationship. )

Can someone help me? Thnx! Smiley Happy

The solution was to remove the filter function in the measure.

CALCULATE(
    DISTINCTCOUNT('Employee - date'[Empl_nr]);
        ALL('Calendar'[Date]);
        'Employee - date'[DateID] = "Leave date";
        'Employee - date'[Date] < TODAY() && 'Employee - date'[Date] <> BLANK() )

I am havinga similiar issue, however I do not have filter in my measrue.  I have the following measure:

measure = CALCULATE(SUM(factPPM[Currency Amount (Fin Plan)]),
    all('Forecast Period'),
    ALL(dimLists[Item Status]),
    factPPM[Financial View (Fin Plan)]="Budget")

I want to have the report filter set to exclude [Item Status] is not canceled.  However when I do this, my measure is also affected.  Can anyone provide some suggestions?

Thank you in advance for your help.

@Anonymous,

You may add CROSSFILTER Function outside and set cross-filter direction to None.

The solution was to remove the filter function in the measure.

CALCULATE(
    DISTINCTCOUNT('Employee - date'[Empl_nr]);
        ALL('Calendar'[Date]);
        'Employee - date'[DateID] = "Leave date";
        'Employee - date'[Date] < TODAY() && 'Employee - date'[Date] <> BLANK() )

This is works. But why? what's the reason behind it?
