MPE for HD insight - is this supported? Is missing from docs.

There are docs about creating an HDI activity here:
https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/fabric/data-factory/azure-hdinsight-activity

But for some reason there is no MPE listed in the data sources area here:
https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/fabric/security/security-managed-private-endpoints-create#supporte...

Can someone tell me if this is just an omission error in the docs, or if it is not supported?

We are considering the migration of some workloads from ADF to Fabric, but we use HDI quite a bit, and don't want to take any steps backwards.

Any tips would be appreciated.

Hi @dbeavon3 ,

Yes, there is not much support for this in fabric at the moment, would it be possible to try the Azure HDInsight activity in the data pipeline, refer to the relevant documentation below: Azure HDInsight activity - Microsoft Fabric | Microsoft Learn

Do you know the answer?  I think it uses a normal PE to a PLS from other platforms (synapse and ADF) when connecting to HDI.

I don't see PLS listed in the docs either.
