Impressive!!

Sorry for the question, but yes you absolutely understand it right.
Also I was thinking, lets say by not creating a new table, Is it possible to create an additional column

Hi,

Please check the below picture and the attached pbix file.

It is for creating new columns.

Picture2.png

New Last Modified Date CC =
VAR currentproposal = Data[Proposals]
VAR maxdate =
MAXX (
FILTER ( Data, Data[Proposals] = currentproposal ),
Data[Last Modified Date]
)
RETURN
IF (
Data[Proposals] = currentproposal
&& Data[Last Modified Date] = maxdate,
Data[Last Modified Date],
BLANK ()
)

New Proposal Value CC =
VAR currentproposal = Data[Proposals]
VAR maxdate =
MAXX (
FILTER ( Data, Data[Proposals] = currentproposal ),
Data[Last Modified Date]
)
RETURN
IF (
Data[Proposals] = currentproposal
&& Data[Last Modified Date] = maxdate,
Data[Proposals],
BLANK ()
)

Hi,

I am not sure if I understood your question correctly, but please check the below picture and the attached pbix file.

It is for creating a new table.

Picture1.png

New Table =
CALCULATETABLE (
Data,
TREATAS (
GROUPBY (
Data,
Data[Proposals],
"@latestdate", MAXX ( CURRENTGROUP (), Data[Last Modified Date] )
),
Data[Proposals],
Data[Last Modified Date]
)
)
