cumulative total with first number manually entered

Hi

I am trying to build a cumulative table on Power BI where the table consists of date and total.

The total column I want the first number to be manually entered as i dont have the historical data for it. The data onwards I want it to calculate based on another table example:

date |               Total

01/01/2020      10090 <- this number will be a value I will want to return manuall

02/01/2020       10088 <- these numbers are based on the above number but also calculates and returns based on another table

03/01/2020       10089

@Powerbing1 , share the data of another table?

or Try like

measure =

var _sel = maxx(allselected(whatif), whatif[param]) //value entered

return

calculate(sum(Table2[Value]), filter(allselected(Date), Date[Date] <= Max(Date[Date]))) +_sel

better to use common date table in such cases

To get the best of the time intelligence function. Make sure you have a date calendar and it has been marked as the date in model view. Also, join it with the date column of your fact/s. Refer :radacad sqlbi My Video Series Appreciate your Kudos.
