User defined function/ Custom function in DAX

Hi Team,

Is there any way or mechansim in Power BI specially in Terms of DAX by which we can create User defined Function that can be utlised across Model in Report View . 

We do understand Custom function are available in M query (in query editor) but such kind of feature is not available in DAX currently It looks like. This can be a Good feature in terms of Reusability of similar kind of Operation or code across entire model in DAX if it has created that can genrate Good Data insight based on User action in Report. 

Any suggestion would be helpful.

I think you describe measures, or maybe Calculation Groups.

Can you give an example?
