So i managed to write a DAX formula to do a Vlookup .
Well, no, it won't work in Power Query, as that uses M, not DAX - if you want to do it in Power Query, I'd do some sort of merge/join that replicates your lookup to get the value needed as a first step, then use the conditional logic you need in a second step
