Transferring time format to BI

Hello all,

This is my data in excel:

e175429_1-1738004949189.png

When I birng it in to BI, it changes it to this:

e175429_0-1738004850749.png

I can't uoload the BI file because I have to be a SuperUser (shame).

How do I get it back to the correct format?

The ultimate goal is to calculate the overtime wait and service time by year.

Thank you!

Hi, @e175429
Thanks for reaching out to the Microsoft fabric community forum.

I believe your requirement might be better met by converting the data type to Duration.

Secondly, your Month and Year columns are not in date format. I suggest you combine these two columns and then change the data type to date. This will make it easier for you to handle the issue using DAX.

@e175429

Change the Data Type to Time, right click on the column > Chagne Type > Time
