To find out the row item that is active before expired date.

Hello Friends, I would like to kow how many unique contract number that their expired date is still after todays date. For example, the picture attached below show that C00001 is not expired as per todays date and C00002 has expired. So only C00001 can consider active. May I know how can I code this ?
