Hello - Can someone please help me with the below query
I have a decomposition tree visual in the report and wanted to show data mapping for the different relationships - dependencies, blockers etc - what I am able to show is as below -
the left side table is my source data, and the decomposition tree is the visual representation. However the view visible now is only A blocked by B - but we also have B blocked by D, is it possible to get that added in here?
What we want to see is the whole picture together
A - blocked by - B - blocked by - D
or in case of C
C - blocked by A - blocked by - B - blocked by - D
Data source used is SQL.
The ID is combined primary key for all 3 columns together and we do have another master table that has a primary key for the source and destination columns
Thanks in advance
Have you considered using a Sankey diagram instead?
Thanks for the reply..
I tried using Sankey, but somehow it does not give me the a readable view - as the number of records are more..
Also for the Source and Destination - we can add only 1 field each, is there a way to add a hierarchy in the destination field? can we traverse, any other options to format/customize?
Another note to add - all I have are the dimension fields.. there is no number/measure value as such. Is there any other visual that we can consider for such views?
